If you’ve decided to try to get some pocket money with Google Adsense, you must remember one most important thing - do not break Adsense Programme Policies! If you do this, you’ll probably get banned and loose all your money.
Don’t have Adsense yet?
What can’t you do
- Never click on your own advertisements - trust me, it’s not hard to track this!
- Don’t place texts like “click the ads”, “support us”, “visit these links”, “Favourite Sites” etc. near ad unit.
- Don’t direct user attention to the ads in any way.
- Don’t place images alongside individual ads - some time ago it was really good way to increase clicks count by even 4 times, but it’s prohibited now! Example:

- You can’t compensate users for viewing ads or performing searches.
- Your site can’t be about hacking, cracking, can’t have pornography, adult or mature content etc. Detailed informations about prohibited content can be found in Google Adsense Programme Policies.
- Your site can’t be “made for Adsense” - many people offer special software for creating such websites. Remember - it’s illegal!
- You can’t change the AD code generated by Google Adsense Installator.
Oh my god, I’ve clicked an advertisement on my site!
Come down and don’t worry!
I’ve also made such mistake some time ago.
I’ve just sent a mail to Google describing my mistake, they’ve responded that false click has been deleted.
Will I get banned?
Many people on the Internet say that they get banned without any warning - Don’t believe them!
Google always warns Adsense user before banning.
Don’t forget to read the Google Adsense Programme Policies!
