So, here it is! New hosting, new domain, new theme, new features and same old content.
What’s exactly changed?

• New hosting - it should be much more stable, there shouldn’t be so much downtimes.
• New domain - just type www.tomksoft.com and You’re here!
• New design - I was looking for the right one for over 3 weeks, I think that I’ve chosen quite nice one, haven’t I?
• Better images - I’ve switched popup images to LightBox.
• Better downloads - I’ve been using MediaFire, but now, when I have my own hosting, I’ve moved all downloads to my server (download speed per session is limited to 2 Mb/s).
• Much faster - due to new hosting and caching.
• Trackbacks - they should work now, because php internet functions are no longer locked.
• Tomksoft’s techblog is now much more mobile friendly.

At the beginning - sorry for that 3 days downtime. Currently this blog is on free hosting and there was small filesystem disaster. However, now everything seems to be right. To be more sure that such downtime won’t turn Tomksoft’s techblog down anymore, I am going to buy better hosting with money earned with Subvert and Profit (I’ve described it in my last 2 posts).
Another good news is that I have 2 months long holidays right now - finally! By the way, I’ve finished this year with pretty good marks.

First, sorry for no posts for over 2 weeks - it’s the end of the school year and I’ve got quite a lot of work.
However, there’s only 2 weeks left till holidays!

But let’s come back to the directories - You probably know how important are they in Search Engine Optimization.
Unfortunately, most of them are paid. So I started thinking how to find free directories using uncle Google.
And, I’ve made it! I am searching for directories with query:
inurl:submit.php free title url Description mail name
This will find both, free and paid directories, so I’ve also made an application in Delphi to filter out only free dirs.
